One of my great passions is cinema and that’s why I spend long hours every day watching series and movies, most of the series, mainly those involving crime scenes since one of my biggest dreams has always been to be a federal police officer and it is motivated by this passion that I sought to separate some lessons that I’ve learned from it and that you also learn when watching series.
Although for some watching too many movies may be wrong or believe it hinders focus, I believe it actually only helps to improve focus. By watching series on your break or even during your spare time you will be able to learn many things, including the five that we will mention below.
#1 Changing Profession can be good
In the Elementary series, one of the main characters is the doctor Joan Watson, a former surgery and who due to a medical error had her registration suspended and therefore had to change profession.
After that, she started working as a caretaker for addicts, and in one of these jobs, she meets Sherlock Holmes, a very intelligent and detailed detective, capable of solving the most difficult crimes in New York City.
Through daily contact, the doctor Joan ends up rediscovering herself as a police detective and achieves much greater success than she already had in her former career, and this gives us a valuable life lesson.
Sometimes you need to change careers, break paradigms and explore the new, what we still don’t know about happened to me a few years ago when I stopped having dropshipping e-commerce and started exploring the affiliate market, I got much more results in the digital marketing automation platform than before selling products from China.
Another important item to remember is that the changes themselves don’t just happen in careers, but often in niches only. Currently, my biggest blogs and projects are not in the marketing or weight loss niche, but in unexplored and extremely profitable places.

#2 Have multiple sources
The series Narcos, produced by Netflix tells the life story of Pablo Escobar, one of the biggest cocaine traffickers in the world in the 1980s.
Although in real life Escobar was a drug dealer and he killed thousands of people, he still managed to leave a very large legacy and several lessons for us entrepreneurs.
The first lesson that we can extract from the series is that it is necessary to obtain several different sales routes so that the business can constantly grow. If we analyze this in our midst, we can say that it is necessary to obtain different sources of traffic for sales to happen constantly, and if one of these sources is harmed, the other can continue to work.
Another very important lesson he left is that we must always maintain good partnerships and be loyal to those who are with us, something he didn’t do and that’s why he ended up losing the entire empire he built. Bringing this lesson to our market, we can keep this in relation to producers and affiliates, sometimes some producers want to exaggerate rules and this hinders affiliates and other times the affiliates themselves want to hinder producers and end up losing the right to promote a product that might be converting well.
It is also necessary to remember that a good partnership only works when everyone is looking for the same ideal, so if you do not believe in an ideal or are just looking to deceive or even harm other people, unfortunately, it must be said that your online career will end soon and forever.

#3 Never stop studying or asking for help
A series that I really like and also recommend that you watch is Prison Break, it is based on the story of two brothers who look for a way to escape from jail, and to do that they study every square inch of where they are trapped and even get a tattoo of every plant of penance in the body so that they can better study the exits.
And although the brothers have a great deal of knowledge about the prison, they study it daily, analyzing each escape route and also partner with other inmates to manage to escape.
In the course of the series they manage to escape from jail, but it was only possible after having made several mistakes about the exits and tunnels and after having made several partnerships.
Bringing this to our world we can say that you will make a mistake, yes, and long before you manage to create a successful online business, but with each mistake you make, you will know the best path to your success.
I learned about mistakes advertising on UOL Clicks, I promoted many products in the slimming niche and the cost per sale was very high, leaving my ROI very small and when I changed niche, I went to more generic segments such as imports and even travel, sales increased for working with both sexes and it made my ROI higher.
And this discovery was only possible when I invested a lot of money in tests and also asked for help from those who had advertised there for a long time, that is, I made a lot of mistakes there, but when I started asking for help and asking for advice, I managed to improve my results.

#4 Don’t overcomplicate what might be simple
Have you noticed how the series Chaves is simple and yet it is a huge success? Probably yes, this is one of the few series that does not explain, nor its immense success.
One of the key success factors for this series is that it’s simple and to the point, just as your internet business should be, it’s a mistake to want to start with a megastructure.
When I’m going to start a campaign for a product regardless of the source of traffic I use, what I try to do is create a capture page, an email sequence, and a sales page and with that start running the campaign capturing emails, relating and selling.
In addition to the standard campaign, I still invest in direct traffic to the sales page and try to analyze which one is selling more, once that’s done, I start to analyze how to improve.
For example, let’s say you started by doing the basics, capturing, relating, and selling, so after your first sale or at least a thousand visits to your page it’s ideal that you see its conversion percentage and create several models of it with small changes and send more visits to them and analyze the conversion percentage or use some mental scarcity trigger.
After you’ve done some capture testing, start improving your email funnel with automation and even more elaborate sequencing to improve engagement and make more sales.
Finally, you can change the sales page as well and analyze conversions.
But for all this to happen you need to start at the beginning, which is to do the simple thing and then optimize.
#5 Keep your team engaged
One of the biggest lessons I learned from watching shows was that you have to keep an engaged team to do all the work.
If you have the opportunity, watch the series Criminal Minds, in which a team seeks to find serial killers based on crime scenes or “marks” they leave with the bodies.
Although it sounds horrible, the series itself doesn’t show heavy scenes and focuses more on showing the team solving cases. Each member of the team is responsible for a certain part of the work, from analyzing crimes, making psychological profiles of criminals, searching for evidence of past crimes on the internet and FBI files, and so on.
In short, each member of the FBI’s intelligence team is responsible for some of the work, and they always strive to stay engaged to solve every case.
And this same process happens in my business, every day I receive the articles ready from my editor, I already receive domains and hosting data from André Zanon and I do my part in the business.
In addition, we also keep the other team members, such as designers, copywriters, and so on and the interesting thing is that when everyone works in harmony, the growth process is constantly maintained and sales are always increasing.
And in addition to their normal earnings for providing services to us, they receive monthly commissions, which helps keep the entire team engaged in the pursuit of better results and you should look to do the same in your business, find a simple and practical way to achieve this keep all your team members engaged and get better results.
If I could give you some advice today, it would be simple, watch a series, seek to understand the main lessons that each one can give you, and apply in your business.
