It is sometimes hard to limit our hottest women list to just the top 50, but we’re going to give it a damn good try! These fifty women (in no particular order – well actually – they are in alphabetical order) are considered the top of the top – the ones with the most sex appeal, the best smiles, the curviest bodies and the ones that kind of make the regular man drool. We hope you enjoy our list and although we know you’ll come up with plenty that we missed, just remember – we were limited to 50!
1. Alicia Keys.
Born in 1981 in Hell’s Kitchen, Alicia burst on the international music scene with a sultry and sexy voice singing “Fallin.” Her looks definitely match her voice as she is both sultry and sexy. Although mostly a singer, she has been on both the big screen and small screen. In fact, her first major acting engagement was on The Cosby Show playing Rudy Huxtable’s playmate.
2. Alessandra Ambrosio
Allesandro is a Brazilian Victoria’s Secret model and one of our favorite on the list. She began her career at age 15 and has since modeled for such brand names as Armani, Christian Dior, and Ralph Lauren. However, she is also known as an ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society! Smart, Wealthy, Sexy, and Compassionate – it’s a winning combination for sure.
3. Allesandro Ambrosio.
Beginning her career at age 11 as a model, she quickly turned to the small screen starring in such TV roles as All My Children and As The World Turns. However, she became nationally renowned with her role in the 2004 classic Mean Girls, starring Lindsey Lohan. Since that time, she has mostly stuck to big-screen roles and done quite well for herself. Interestingly enough, she has stage fright and has never appeared live in the theater because of it.
4. Angelina Jolie.
The gorgeous child of Marcheline Bertrand and Jon Voight, Angelina was raised in an environment where acting was the norm. She first acted at the tender age of seven, but in her teens, decided she wanted to be a funeral director. After graduating from high school, she soon returned to her acting and modeling roots. She is now most well known for her humanitarian efforts, her six children, and her marriage to Brad Pitt.
5. Anna Kournikova.
Born in 1981 in Russia, Anna became one of the top tennis players in the world. Despite never having actually become a number one singles player, she gained fame for her beauty as well as her ability to win doubles matches. Currently retired from tennis due to spinal injuries, Anna went on to become a model, spokesperson and even worked as a trainer on The Biggest Loser.
6. Anna Paquin.
First winning an academy award at the extremely young age of 11 for her role in The Piano, Anna now appears in both movies and critically acclaimed TV shows. Although a resident of New Zealand, Anna was born in Manitoba, Canada, and lived in the US during her college years. She played many serious roles in classic movies, such as Jane Eyre, but is often best known for playing a mutant super-hero in the X-Men series.
7. AnnaSophia Robb.
AnnaSophia Robb is a cutie who was born in Colorado. Homeschooled during her younger years, she has recently taken classes at New York University and was admitted to Stanford University. Of strong religious convictions, Anna Sophia has taken on movie roles in clean-cut movies such as Because of Winn Dixie and Soul Surfer. Just last year, she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her role in The Carrie Diaries.
8. Ariana Grande.
Although currently best known for her singing career, Ariana Grande-Butera first became involved in the industry through acting. She claims she was pretty “dark” as a child and so fascinated with that lifestyle that her fifth birthday party had a Jaws theme. It took Ariana a full three years to record her debut album titled Yours Truly. Within a month of being released, it hit the number one spot on the US Billboard 200 chart.
9. Beyonce Knowles.
Wife of Jay-Z, Sister of Solange, mother to Blue Ivy, and Destiny’s Child member, Beyonce is known for her singing ability, her acting ability, her fashion line, and her philanthropy. At this time, she is also considered one of the wealthiest women of music and is also considered an inspiration to up-and-coming artists. Often considered one of the most influential creative artists of the day, no one can deny that she is also sexy as hell.
10. Blake Lively.
Born to parents who are actors and teachers, Blake had said initially that she wanted to attend Standford University and was not interested in becoming an actor. However, before her senior year of high school – at the urging of her brother, she auditioned for a few roles and got selected as Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants. Her acting career soon took off. Currently married to Ryan Reynolds, she is expecting their first child.
11. Brooklyn Decker.
Most well known for her being the Sports Illustrated Cover model for the 2010 Swimsuit Edition, Brooklyn is also Victoria’s Secret model and an actress. Born to a normal family in Ohio, she was discovered at a shopping mall in Charlotte, North Carolina. Shortly after beginning modeling, she suffered from an eating disorder but states that her father’s intervention helped her recover. She is currently married to tennis star Andy Roddick.
12. Candice Swanepoel.
Originally from South Africa, Candice is one of the highest-paid fashion models today. The story has it that she was discovered in a flea market. She’s most well known for being Victoria’s Secret model but has also modeled for top designers such as Tommy Hilfiger, Colcci, Ralph Lauren, Versace, and Michael Kors. Having been raised in South Africa, she is fluent in English, Afrikaans, and Portuguese – taught to her by her boyfriend Hermann Nicoli.
13. Cara Delevingne.
A model, a socialite, an actress, and a singer define Cara. Born in London to a wealthy and influential family, she is the goddaughter of actress Joan Collins. As a model, she has appeared on the catwalk for such names as Dolce & Gabanna, Stella McCartney, Chanel, and Oscar de la Renta. Cara is most well known, however, for being the cover face for Burberry’s Beauty Campaign.
14. Charlize Theron.
By watching Charlize portray serial killer Eileen Wournos in Monster, you would never guess that she is actually gorgeous in real life. She purposefully gained weight and made herself uglier in order to match the real-life Eileen as closely as possible. For this role, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress, the Screen Actors Guild Award, and the Golden Globe. In order to get back her figure after the role was over, Charlize states that her treadmill became her very best friend.
15. Chiquinquira Delgado.
A 1990 runner-up in the Miss Venezuela beauty pageant, María Chiquinquirá Delgado Díaz is now a well-known Venezuelan TV show host, model, and actress. She is the face of Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Pantene and although not well known among the non-Hispanic population, is often considered one of the most promising faces on TV due to her beauty and charisma.
16. Chloë Grace Moretz.
Chloe started acting at the age of seven and won an award nomination at the age of eight for her role in The Amityville Horror. Since that time, she has acted, modeled, and provided the voice for games and movies. Even though not quite 18, she has starred in more than 35 movies, appeared in 10 television shows, graced the covers of multiple magazines, and garnered more than 15 Entertainment awards.
17. Courtney Henggeler.
Known for being the pretty and normal twin sister to Sheldon Cooper on the Big Bang Theory, Courtney is not really well known. However, with people clamoring that she be brought back to the show because of her beauty, she does make the list. Her first TV role was in 2005 when she played a small part in House, M.D. She does have an impressive list of small roles including parts in Franklin & Bash, Royal Pains, and Friends With Benefits.
18. Eva Longoria.
Eva started her career by entering talent contests and beauty pageants. Her first role was playing Isabella on The Young and The Restless, but right now she is better known for her role in Desperate Housewives, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. She not only holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, but she also earned a Master’s degree in Chicano Studies. She is a successful businesswoman and philanthropist.
19. Halle Berry.
The first (and currently only) African-American to win an Oscar for a leading role in Monster’s Ball, Halle is both beautiful and talented. She started as a model and beauty pageant contestant wherein 1986 she finished 1st Runner Up in the Miss USA pageant and 6th place finalist in the Miss World pageant. During her early years in entertainment, she was homeless for a short time before she got a recurring role on Living Dolls.
20. Hope Solo.
A two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and currently living under a cloud of domestic abuse allegations Hope still made the list. She is considered one of the top female soccer goalkeepers in the world, holding the US title for most career shutouts. She is also known for her performances on Dancing with the Stars and has posed for magazine covers. Hope has pleaded not guilty to the domestic abuse charges and will go to trial in late 2014.
21. Irina Shayk.
Born Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova, this beautiful voluptuous Russian has graced the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition multiple times and graced the cover in 2011. She has appeared in many top 50 and top 100 beautiful women of the world lists and has been chosen to represent multiple high fashion houses. She has also appeared in music videos, magazine covers and even recently made her acting debut in Hercules.
22. Jaime Pressly.
Currently known for her role as Joy Turner on My Name is Earl, she’s also appeared in movies such as Joe Dirt, Horton Hears a Who, and the cult classic Not Another Teen Movie. She originally began her career as a teenager doing modeling work and after receiving a contract in Japan, she became legally emancipated from her parents in order to take the job.
23. Jenna Dewan-Tatum.
Jenna started her career as a backup dancer for stars such as Janet Jackson, Pink, Ricky Martin, and Missy Elliot. She has since moved onto both the big and small screen. Her experience in dancing allowed her to get the co-starring role in Step Up, which further solidified her as a serious actress. Her father was semi-famous as a college football star at Notre Dame in the 1970s.
24. Jennifer Lawrence.
After getting her first major acting role in The Bill Engvall Show, Jennifer has gone on to star in such major motion pictures as the Hunger Games, X-Men, Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle. She has received several Golden Globe awards as well as multiple Academy Award nominations. She not only has looks – she is extremely intelligent. In fact, she was able to graduate a full two years early with a 3.9 GPA.
25. Zooey Deschanel.
A comedian, actress, and singer, Zooey is well known for her deadpan performances in The Hitchhiker’s Guide To the Galaxy and Failure to Launch. Her parents are both in the industry with her father being an award-winning director and her mother an actress. Although for years Zooey was cast as “the best friend”, she soon tired of the role and decided to hold out for a lead part, which she soon landed in All The Real Girls.
26. Jennifer Lopez.
This mega-star not only acts, dances, and sings, she is also a fashion designer, producer, and author. Although initially discouraged to pursue acting by her parents, who believed that acting was not a good career for a Hispanic, she was able to prove them wrong by first dancing as a backup singer for New Kids On the Block and then becoming a regular on In Living Color. Jennifer was born and grew up in the Bronx.
27. Jessica Alba.
Jessica Alba was born in 1981 and began her entertainment career at the young age of 13. Although currently only 33 years old, she has starred in multiple movies, appeared on the cover of Playboy, and won multiple acting awards. Since her father was in the military, she moved often as a child. Due to multiple childhood illnesses and the moving, she has said that she felt extremely isolated as a child. She has long suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder.
28. Jessica Biel.
Although mostly known for her acting career, Jessica actually began her career as a singer. Her vocal ability got her a job on 7th Heaven, which launched her career. She married Justin Timberlake in 2012 after dating for four years. In 2007, in collaboration with her father, Jonathan Biel, she launched a charity called Make A Difference Network; however, it is no longer in business at this
29. Kaley Cuoco.
Most famously known for her role as Penny, the Cheesecake Factory waitress on The Big Bang Theory, she’s also appeared on such shows as 8 Simple Rules and Charmed. As a teenager, Kaley was a regionally ranked tennis player, but she quit playing at the age of 16. She started on The Big Bank Theory making $60,000 per episode, but currently commands an estimated $1 Million per episode.
30. Karina Smirnoff.
Born in Ukraine, Karina started her career as a professional ballroom dancer. This doesn’t surprise anyone who watches Dances With The Stars, where she is employed as one of the professional dancers chosen to dance with the stars. She was born in 1978 and immigrated to the US in 1993. Although she received a double bachelor’s degree in Economics and Information Systems Programming, she decided to pursue her passion instead.
31. Kate Upton.
Kate is one of the rare few who not only graced the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, she was actually selected two years in a row! Her uncle is a member of the US House of Representatives and her great-grandfather co-founded Whirlpool corporation. As a younger child, she competed and won at the national level in the American Paint Horse Association events. She was first signed as a model in 2008.
32. Katy Perry.
Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson was born in 1984 to an ultra-religious family. During her teen years, she sang as a gospel singer at church. In fact, her first album – Katy Hudson – was a gospel album. However, she soon decided that she wanted to pursue a secular music career. In 2008, her career launched quickly following the release of the song, I Kissed a Girl. By 2011, she was one of the highest-paid female singers in the world.
33. Lupita Nyong’o.
Of Kenyan descent, Lupita was born in Mexico to a Kenyan professor who was a visiting lecturer at a university in Mexico City. Shortly after her birth, her family returned to Kenya, where Lupita grew up. She came to the US in order to attend college and in fact, received a Master’s Degree from the Yale School of Drama. Although acting since a teenager, her first major role was in the movie 12 Years a Slave.
34. Megan Fox.
Although acting since 2001, it wasn’t until her role in the Transformers in 2007 that Megan Fox became a household name. Although born into a strict Pentecostal family, she attended a Catholic school for most of her education. She was able to test out of school at the age of 17 to pursue her dream of an entertainment career. She started dating Brian Austin Green in 2004 and married him in 2010. They have two boys together.
35. Miranda Kerr.
Born in 1983 in Australia, Miranda first came to the national spotlight as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. In addition to modeling, she is also an author and a successful businesswoman. In 2010, she married Orlando Bloom although they are now separated. Since Miranda was raised on a farm, she grew up racing motorbikes and riding horses. At the age of 13, Miranda won her first modeling competition and hasn’t stopped yet.
36. Nicki Minaj.
Onika Tanya Maraj was born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago in 1932, Nicki signed her first recording contract in 2009. Her debut album hit number one on the US Billboard 200. In addition to singing, she worked as a voice actress in Ice Age: Continental Drift worked as a judge on American Idol, and acted in the film The Other Woman. She is considered one of the most influential rappers of our time.
37. Nicole Scherzinger.
Born Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente in Hawaii in 1978, Nicole was the lead singer of the wildly famous singing group The Pussycat Dolls. She won season ten of Dancing With The Stars and also acted in movies such as Men In Black 3. Although a fabulous entertainer, Nicole is extremely active as an ambassador for Special Olympics as well as other human rights charities. She credits Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson as her musical influences.
38. Nina Konstantinova Dobreva
Although Nina grew up in Canada, she was actually born in Bulgaria and given the name Nikolina Konstantinova Dobreva. Even as a very young child, she wanted to be in the entertainment industry. She was engaged in dancing, acting, singing, gymnastics, and modeling. Outside of acting, she is extremely active in athletics and represents Canada as an aesthetic gymnast. Although previously linked to Ian Somerhalder, it appears this girl is currently single.
39. Olga Kurylenko.
At the age of 13, Olga Kostyantynivna Kurylenko began her modeling career. By the age of 16, she was successful enough to move to Paris and by the age of 18, she had been a cover model twice over. Her acting career started in 2005 with the making of several French Films. She became well-known in the US after her selection as a Bond Girl in the film Quantum Solace.
40. Olivia Wilde.
Born Olivia Jane Cockburn to parents who were both successful journalists in New York City and Washington DC, Olivia always knew she wanted to be an actress. She has acted in movies such as Alpha Dog, Conversations With Other Women, and Better Living Through Chemistry. But she is most well known for her role in The OC as Alex Kelly and her role in House as Dr. Remy Hadley.
41. Rachel Bilson.
Rachel is another famous actress from The OC, playing Summer Roberts. Although once a rebellious teen, Rachel shaped up after a horrific car accident and started taking better care of herself. Her father comes from a family well known in the entertainment industry and persuaded Rachel to drop out of college and pursue an acting career. She started working in commercials for companies such as Subway and Pepto-Bismol and soon her career took off.
42. Rihanna.
Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in Saint Michael, Barbados in 1998. In 2003, she met a famous record producer and recorded a few demo tapes for him. This led to a record contract with Def Jam Records. Her first two albums both made the US Billboard 200’s Top Ten list. However, it was her third album and the song “Umbrella” that made her an international star. She had a tough childhood and actually never finished high school.
43. Salma Hayek.
Salma was initially a film star in Mexico prior to moving to America and pursuing the Hollywood dream. She knew little English when she first moved but picked it up quickly. During her career, she has been nominated for multiple awards including the Academy Award, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, Emmy, and BAFTA awards. As a child, Salma was diagnosed with dyslexia, yet she still attended the University in Mexico City.
44. Sara Nuru.
Born in Germany to Ethiopian immigrant parents, Sara is fluent in English, German, and Arabic. Her first major modeling move was to audition for Germany’s Next Top Model. During the competition, she had already signed contracts to model for Sony Ericsson and Gillette. By the end of the competition, she emerged as the winner and promptly signed with Heidi Klum’s agency. Since winning, she has remained busy with modeling contracts.
45. Scarlett Johansson.
At the age of ten, Scarlett made her first major film debut in North playing John Ritter’s daughter. She continued to work steadily throughout her teen years but gained a major reputation in Robert Redford’s movie The Horse Whisperer. She has also contracted with multiple companies, such as Calvin Klein, L’Oreal, and Mango, as an advertisement model. She is currently engaged to Romain Dauriac and had her first child – a daughter named Rose Dorothy.
46. Selena Gomez.
Although once considered just another baby-faced teen actress in productions such as Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, and Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena has merged well into adulthood. As an only child of a hard-working single teenage mother, Selena grew up rather poor in Grand Prairie, Texas. She is now considered one of the top singers in the US and has had albums that have gone double platinum.
47. Sofía Vergara.
Born in 1972 in Columbia, Sofia went to school in order to become a dentist. However, she started receiving a lot of modeling offers and decided to quit school in order to pursue them. She quickly moved to Miami with her child, her mother, and her sister due to the political unrest in her home country and actually had a brother who was killed during a kidnap attempt. She is naturally blond.
48. Stacey Dash.
Part Barbadian, part Mexican, and part African-American, Stacey has the exotic looks that have landed her multiple movie and TV roles. One of her first major roles was on The Cosby’s Show as one of Lisa Bonet’s friends. However, she became a household face in the mega-movie hit Clueless with Alicia Silverstone. She is politically conservative and actually endorsed Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential elections.
49. Vanessa Hudgins.
First recognized nationally for her work in the series – High School Musical, Vanessa is also a top-ranked singer whose first release was titled Breaking Free. Coming from a family of musicians, it’s no wonder that Vanessa started appearing in musical theater at the age of eight. Although she attended Orange County High School of the Arts for a short period of time, she ended up being homeschooled because she was busy working in commercials and on stage.
50. Zendaya
Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman was born in 1996 in Oakland California. Her mother worked as the house manager at the California Shakespeare Theater where Zendaya almost literally grew up. She helped her mother seat customers and sell tickets. She has worked as a successful model for Old Navy and Macy’s. She has worked as an actor and singer and performed on season sixteen of Dancing With The Stars.
